NanaB, pigtails, and monkey socks
Here are some photos of CJ and NanaB (right before Corey took her to the airport on Sunday), the pigtails I put in CJ's hair before Toddler Time at the library, and the monkey socks NanaB left for CJ to play with after it became clear that CJ had developed a serious affinity for them. One of her pigtails is looking wonky in the last few photos because at some point CJ decided she wanted to pull it out. Luckily, I was able to distract her with lunch before major damage was done to my masterpiece. The last photo is of the aftermath of the pigtails. She looks like Bozo the Clown.
BWAHAHAHA!!! That child is cuckoo! The pigtails look so ridiculously cute.... I'm so excited that her hair is long enough for them! Those monkey socks rule.... I love that both of Charbunkle's grandmas wear fun socks!
Erin - I don't think Charlie will be upset with pix of the monkey socks coming out later in life. She'll probably still have them and be wearing them on a regular basis later in life. She LOVES the monkey socks. She asks us to put them on her (backwards, so the little monkey faces are just under her knees, of course) then she walks around, smiling proudly, and then crouches down every once in a while to play with the little monkey face. She is deeply concerned that Niki and I do not have monkey socks, and wishes we did, too.

She clearly gets her fashion sense from her mother. No pants and socks pulled up to her knees. Nice look down there, yall.

the pig tails and monkey sock pics are AWESOME! PJ has some serious high standards to live up to for nutburger-ness. ;)
I am sure Charlotte will be oh so grateful when you whip these pictures out when she's a teenager. (and of course by grateful I mean horrified:-))
