Charlotte was a little skeptical. Perhaps worried. Okay, she was completely perplexed.
The look on her face was priceless though. ENHANCE!!

But then she decided it wasn't too bad and tried it out herself. Her technique wasn't terrible, considering she stuck the ENTIRE mouthpiece in her mouth. I'm still holding out hope that she will choose a nice woodwind though. Perhaps the clarinet like Auntie Ernie, Mommy, and Cousin Ellie?

I know Mom is holding out hope that she'll play a woodwind, but knowing her personality, I think she'll wind up playing trombone . . .

Those pictures are PRICELESS!!!!!! Hey-- at least you aren't in danger of Charbaby playing the drums when she grows up....
She was drumming on her food tray with carrot sticks during dinner, and we both commented that she might be a drummer!
C&N - Don would be more than happy to donate his old drum set to the cause... Charlotte could be a drummer yet!
Uncle Andrew could offer Charbaby drumming lessons via Skype!
I was thinking that since Charlittle put the entire mouthpiece in her mouth rather than just pressing her lips up to it, that means that it's more natural for her to be a woodwind player. Think about it!
No woodwinds for Charlie - learning to put her lips on the outside of the mouthpiece is simply called learning "technique." As for drums, Don - send that drum set down here, and I will send Quinn his "My First Rodent Starter Kit", complete with ferret, rat, and long-haired guinea pig . . .

Oh, man! I want a "My First Rodent" starter kit for Sonia! I don't think Andrew would agree, though.
