We posed for photos with the pumpkins. Because they had been carved almost a week ago, they were looking a little limp.
I'm a ladybug! Can you see the reflection of my daddy in the glass door behind me?
Awww... The pumpkin is almost as big as me.
Daddy was dressed head to toe in his flame gear and Mommy put on her Duke Blue Devils jersey because it was the only costume-like thing she owned.
Pacey tried to look scary!
For the second year in a row, Daddy soaked toilet paper rolls in kerosene and used them to light the pumpkins. Apparently, tea lights just aren't bright enough. Daddy is now the hero of every pre-teen boy in the neighborhood.

Wow! Those are some well lit pumpkins! :-)
ps- I read about you doing Stroller Strides, and I checked it out on line. It looks really fun! I signed up for a free class, and I put your name as my referral. I hope thats okay!
TOTALLY!! I love Stroller Strides. That and the breast feeding has me down almost 20 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. If Josiah cries, don't worry -- everyone else there understands, and it's good to get him used to being in a stroller. I hope you have a good time!!
I haven't been a pre-teen for a quarter century, but my first reaction to the pumpkins was, "Awesome!" Now, how did you get the cat to go all Halloween Kitty on cue like that?
